Day 2 in Annecy started with a morning run by Lake Annecy, which is known to be the cleanest lake in Europe. Now, isn’t this a breathtaking view…
Followed by a croissant and hot chocolate breakfast at Au Péché Mignon, a cozy cafe/patisserie. Alas, all that running for naught.
Then, explored the Sunday open-air market and tasted too many jambon and fromage and nougat…
The eating continued with cheese fondu at Le Freti. Major burp!
Lastly, took the boat to explore nearby villages, which are quieter than Annecy and lovely in different ways. Boat schedule available here.
Wasn’t expecting to spot a Lamborghini LP700-4 in this quiet little town…

Ran into a fair, ate a chocolate crepe.

Back to Annecy, and back to Paris…what a perfect weekend getaway :)
