I love the bathrobe at Plateau Spa, the same ones you can find in the rooms of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. They fit snuggly to your body, so soft, so fluffy, so warm. I’d like to bring one home, please.

I was then offered a selection of aromatherapy massage balms, from which I chose DETOX, a delightful blend of Lemongrass, Rosemary, Geranium, Sandalwood, Grapefruit, Basil and Clary Sage.

I scheduled to have the 90-minute Plateau Massage (1,380 HKD), a treatment that relieves tired muscles and soothes the mind with a combination of Shiatsu (Japanese), Thai, and Swedish massage techniques and essential oils. My therapist started the treatment by placing a hot towel over my feet, carefully adjusting the temperature to fit my preference. Then commenced the 90-minute massage session, and I barely remembered anything other than the soothing strokes, the warmly heated bed, the silky massage balm…It was a blur, but it was certainly a most blissful blur.

It was too cold on the day of my visit, but the outdoor pool would be enticing on a hot summer day, not to mention the steam room with harbor view.
