One Michelin-starred seafood specialty restaurant near the Eiffel Tower. I’d been here a long time ago for an a la carte dinner, but I recommend this place more for its excellent and affordable weekday lunch set menu. 3 courses plus a glass of wine for €35? Unbeatable deal, especially considering the quality of the dishes here. Also worth noting: consistently superb service.
A glass of white or red, included in the €35 lunch set.
Amuse-bouche: sea bream tartar with mousse of corn, and a sprig of shiso leaves.
Entree: langoustine bisque with basil, cucumber, and squid ink whipped dream.
Main course: plaice fish “a la plancha”, with crushed potatoes and olives, in a saffron broth.
Dessert: strawberry and vanilla marmalade with bitter almond crumbles and lemon granite.
Marshmallows and pâte-de-fruits to finish.
From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, each dish was a delight. Absolutely worth coming back to.
