A cozy little artisan coffee shop in the quirky Canal Saint-Martin neighborhood, put together by famed Parisian barista Thomas Lehoux and the folks behind Le Bal Café. This place is almost always packed for many good reasons – glorious coffee, delicious pastries, and friendly faces. I really love how I hear “à bientôt/see you soon” instead of “au revoir/goodbye” every time I leave the cafe…yes, see you again soon.
A counter lined with cookies, scones, brownies, crumbles, and more!
All food – sandwiches, soups, and pastries – are prepared in this glistening kitchen.
A mezzanine with additional seats looking down over the first floor.
A curious selection of books in the corner.
Cappuccino (€4). Glorious, no less.
Raspberry lemonade (€4.50).
Ham, cheddar, and chutney sandwich (€5.50), liked very much but wish they can serve this toasted.
Lemon buttermilk pastry (€3.50) and benny bar (€3.50), both simple and delicious.
Scones (€3.5), served with butter and jam. Not bad.
The charming folks behind the counter. What more can you ask for?
