Uncle No Name Espresso, a cozy cafe on Fengxian Road with delicious coffee. The owner is Australian, though the shop is run by local staff – a very friendly bunch. There are bar seats right near the front window, a few tables lining the corridor, and a bit more space within the shop itself. It’s not a huge place, but you don’t need much to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Uncle No Name serves espresso-based coffee (20-35 RMB) as well as filter (35-45 RMB). There are also tea, hot chocolate, juices, as well as a few pastries to choose from.

The staff always seem to take the time to make a pretty cup of latte, which I really appreciate, and the taste is great too, in case you are wondering.

The staff told me that the pastries are not made in-house, though they didn’t say where they are sourced from. Anyway, I haven’t tried any of them yet, will have to let you know about this next time.
