Our third and final day in Venice started with mini sandwiches and prosecco at Bacareto Da Lele. We stumbled upon this by chance, but apparently this little sandwich bar is very popular among locals and tourists alike.
Mini sandwiches, simple and tasty.
We then made our way to the Venice Biennale for an artsy afternoon.
Then, back in the city center.
For another cone of gelato.
Lastly, dinner at Osteria l’Orto dei Mori as recommended by a local contact.
Scampi and pumpkin “saor” style.
“Barn-made” dried pasta with bisque sauce and zucchini blossoms.
Turbot Mediterranean style baked in bag.
Thank you Venice, for the lovely three days.
Gorgeous pictures! I loved reading this post. I spent some time in Venice with my family a few years ago, and we absolutely loved it. Such a magical city. We did so much in such a short amount of time, but one of my favorites was the food tour we went on! I found a local gem called “Food Tours of Venice” (foodtoursofvenice). They really treated us like royalty, and the food was seriously amazing.
